Mr. de Castro is one of the pioneer graduates from the consortium between the De La Salle University – Graduate School of Business and the Far Eastern University – Institute of Law, and holds a dual degree of Masters of Business Administration and Juris Doctor which he obtained in March 2008. He passed the Bar Exams taken during the same year and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2009. Prior to completion of his law studies, Mr. de Castro obtained his undergraduate degree in A.B. International Studies, majoring in Japanese from the De La Salle University Manila in 2001. He is currently the Corporate Secretary of the La Salle Green Hills Batch 1997, a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines-Makati Chapter and a member of the La Salle Green Hills Alumni Lawyers Association.
Before joining Agcaoili & Associates, Mr. de Castro worked in government as Legal Officer II at the Office of the Solicitor General. Concurrent with his law studies, he worked as a paralegal at the Calleja Saulog Law Office where he was trained in election, transportation and labor laws. Mr. de Castro also trained with the Bureau of Internal Revenue Legal Aid Program under then Commissioner Guillermo L. Parayno, Jr. and did apprentice work at the Roco Kapunan Migallos & Luna Law Office.
Outside the legal profession, Mr. de Castro became Managing Director of an e-commerce company and was Managing Partner of an events management group.
